We headed south and ended up at Sand Hollow State Park, since Zion was full. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful over the water, and we had lots of space to ourselves.
Now, when I say "space to ourselves" I don't mean in the car and when I say "flush with the middle seats" I don't mean the seats lay flat. It was worse than sleeping on rocky ground without a Thermarest. Dave was stuck with his legs under the steering wheel and both of us were crammed against the doors. Vivian was quite comfortable in the bassinet between us and thinks camping is a lot of fun.
Does anyone have a pop-up trailer we could borrow? Because that is my new definition of roughing it.
Ya I do at Dad's. just needs a little work....
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie! Can't believe how big she is!
Haha! Dad's pop-up trailer needs more than a little work: tires, patching, licensing, taxes, etc. And I've never actually seen it popped up, come to think of it.
